Corey Hansen is chief executive of Sunwave, a company that makes admissions, clinical records, and billing software for addiction treatment and behavioral health centers. A treatment center uses it so its admissions, clinical, and billing staff work in one system.
Two Decades in Technology
He has spent two decades building and scaling technology companies, in roles across product management, sales, strategy consulting, and analytics. Before Sunwave he was chief executive of Lumistry, a healthcare technology company backed by private equity, where he led four acquisitions and grew annual recurring revenue past $40 million.
Taking the Helm at Sunwave
Sunwave named him chief executive in July 2026. At the same time it launched Crest, an advisory board of executives and clinicians from nine behavioral health organizations, which held its first meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, to shape the product plan.
