Navina

Ronen Lavi is co-founder and chief executive of Navina, a company that makes clinical AI for primary care groups in value-based contracts. A primary care group uses it so its clinicians see a one-page summary of each patient's chart, claims, and outside records before the visit.

Twenty-Four Years in Military Intelligence

He spent 24 years in Israeli military intelligence, including Unit 8200, and in the Prime Minister's Office. In 2014 he founded and led the military intelligence artificial intelligence lab, and in 2018 he and Shay Perera received Israel's National Security Award.

Founding Navina

He and Perera founded Navina in 2018. They looked at energy and agriculture before choosing healthcare, and they started with small and mid-size primary care clinics. Navina's Patient Portrait suggests diagnoses that may be missing, open care gaps, and the documentation risk adjustment needs, and the clinician accepts or rejects each one.

More than 10,000 clinicians at about 1,300 clinics use Navina, including those at agilon health and Privia Health, and it won Best in KLAS in 2025 for clinician digital workflow. In March 2025 Navina raised a $55 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
