Ivím Health
Dr. Taylor Kantor is a cardiac surgeon who co-founded Ivím Health with his brother Anthony Kantor in 2021 and serves as its chief innovation officer. He trained in cardiac and thoracic surgery at the University of Michigan and now guides Ivím's medical direction toward preventive weight and hormone care.
Training in Ohio and Michigan
Kantor earned a bachelor's degree in biology at The Ohio State University, magna cum laude with honors distinction and a minor in economics, and his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, according to his Ivím provider profile. He was a cardiac and thoracic surgery house officer at the University of Michigan and completed a fellowship at its Center for Surgical Innovation.
From the Operating Room to Prevention
In surgery he managed patients with complex cardiometabolic conditions. Ivím's About page says he spent years watching preventable conditions turn into emergencies, and his profile says he moved his practice toward prevention, using telehealth to make weight and wellness programs more affordable.
Leading Ivím's Clinical Programs
At Ivím he leads clinical protocols, patient programs, and partnerships. The company says his standard is simple: if care isn't good enough for his own family, it isn't good enough for patients. Speaking to Third News about the Women's Hormone Health program Ivím launched in June 2026, he stressed having a real clinician involved in each patient's care.
