Sully.ai

Recommend Scored Oct 2026

Sully.ai is a healthcare AI platform that answers patient calls and schedules visits, drafts clinical notes from the visit, suggests billing codes for staff review, and gives clinicians a consultant for decision support. It writes notes, codes, and appointments back into the EHR.

sully.ai

Strong fit

  • Outpatient clinics, federally qualified health centers, and multi-site provider networks that want phone answering, notes, and coding from one vendor
  • Practices on athenahealth, NextGen, AdvancedMD, or Epic that want agents to read from and write back to the chart
  • Small practices that want a scribe plus research, medical assistant, and interpreter agents and will confirm the per-provider price first

Weak fit

  • Clinicians who want only a note-taker with a free plan or self-serve trial, since Sully.ai lists neither
  • Buyers who need a confirmed price up front, since the pricing page lists no figures
  • Teams that need independent accuracy data, since most outcome figures come from Sully.ai and its partners
Sully.ai homepage

Bottom line

Sully.ai is a solid choice for clinics and provider networks that want a receptionist, scribe, and coder from one vendor and can work from a demo-led quote. On its older small-business page, Sully.ai lists $79 per provider per month, about the same as Freed's Core plan and more than the free and entry-level scribes. Most of its outcome figures are company-published, and clinicians who want only a scribe have cheaper options.

Sully.ai serves outpatient clinics and provider networks. A January 2026 release from its speech partner Speechmatics lists Oshi Health, Tebra, and Midi as customers, and the homepage cites a 120-clinician health center and a 200-clinician provider network. The best-matched jobs are answering and scheduling calls, drafting visit notes, suggesting codes, and drafting clinical plans for a clinician to edit and sign.

On price, an older small-business page (footer dated 2025) lists $79 per provider per month for scribe, researcher, medical assistant, and interpreter agents, and the help center says agent pricing is custom and set after a demo. Freed's Core plan is also $79 a month for unlimited notes for one clinician, Premier is $119 a month or $104 billed annually, and Heidi Health has a free plan, so Sully.ai costs more than Heidi Health's free plan and Freed's $39 Starter and about the same as Freed's Core, with larger groups quoted after a demo.

The closest competitors are Freed, Heidi Health, and Suki for scribing, and Assort Health for phone agents. Freed suits independent clinicians who want a posted price and a seven-day trial, Heidi Health offers a free plan, referral letters, and patient handouts, Suki is built for voice dictation and ordering inside the EHR, and Assort Health works for specialty practices whose main need is AI voice agents answering patient calls.

Ahmed Omar is founder and chief executive, and Ahmed Nasser is co-founder, president, and chief operating officer. Sully.ai closed a $22 million Series A in January 2025, led by Amity Ventures, with Phaze Ventures, Y Combinator, SemperVirens Venture Capital, and LifeX Ventures taking part. The company is private.

Sully.ai's own figures: 1 million patients seen, $680,000 saved a year in call center costs, $1 million in added annual revenue, 18.5% more patients seen, and provider onboarding cut from 12 weeks to 2. A health center with 120 clinicians saved $650,000 or more by reducing abandoned calls, and a 200-clinician network saved $2 million or more through coding, according to Sully.ai's customer stories. Speechmatics, its speech partner, said in January 2026 that Sully.ai had returned 30 million minutes to the workforce as of December 2025, serves enterprise customers with more than 500 providers, and has early case studies at 21x return.

Sully.ai's integrations page lists Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, athenahealth, NextGen, and AdvancedMD among others, with two-way patient data flow and launch in weeks with white-glove onboarding.

Its trust center lists HITRUST, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and SOC 2 Type 2, with reports that it may provide on request. The homepage says "We don't use or train on your data."

Three customers quoted by Sully.ai describe its effect on charting, billing, and price. Aria Alokozai, a lead physician associate at City Health, said on Sully.ai's small-business page: "Before using Sully.ai, we all used to chart from home; I almost hated my job because of the amount of repetitive tasks that we had to do; thanks to Sully.ai, I started loving my job again!" Derek Ayers, DO, a chief medical officer, said on Sully.ai's homepage: "We're getting paid faster, our compliance risk is much lower, and our administrative overhead is down." Manouchka Lominy, an advanced practice nurse at Clinic Klinic, wrote on Sully.ai's scribe page: "At this price point and with such ease of use, it outperforms the competition."

Independent comments mix praise with limits. A poster on r/FamilyMedicine compared Freed, ScribeHealth, and Sully in July 2025 and wrote of Sully: "The interface isn't as polished as Freed but it's functional and doesn't really get in the way. One word: underrated." SoftwareFinder lists dependence on continuous service availability and on accurate, complete input data among its cons. CompareScribes, an independent comparison site, ranked Sully.ai fifth among the AI scribes it reviews, with an 8.1 editorial score and hands-on scores of 8.0 for clinical precision and 8.0 for note quality. Sully.ai has no published free tier or self-serve trial, and its breadth is more than a clinician needs if the goal is a single scribe, according to CompareScribes.
