Patient engagement & telehealth · AI phone agents for practices
Talkie.ai
Talkie.ai makes AI voice agents that answer patient phone calls for medical practices, booking appointments and handling refills inside the practice's EHR.
Strong fit
- Specialty and primary care practices swamped by phone calls
- Practices on athenaOne, ModMed, Elation or AdvancedMD
- Buyers who want posted prices and a pilot before a long contract
Weak fit
- Large health systems that need a contact center platform
- Practices on an EHR that Talkie does not connect to
- Buyers who want a long list of published studies
Bottom line
Talkie.ai is a solid choice for medical practices that want AI to answer, schedule and route patient calls, with posted prices and a paid pilot first. It suits practices on the EHRs it connects to. Large health systems will want a bigger contact center vendor.

Paweł Lipiński, Ada Andruszkiewicz and Wojciech Przechodzeń founded Talkie.ai in 2018, and Lipiński is chief executive.
Talkie.ai answers patient calls with AI voice agents that book, move and cancel appointments, take refill requests, collect referral details and answer common questions. Calls it cannot finish go to staff with a summary, and the agents can speak other languages, such as Korean.
It connects to athenaOne, ModMed EMA, Elation, AdvancedMD and eMedicalPractice, so appointments go straight into the schedule. Practices can see transcripts and reports for each call.
Talkie.ai works with practices in dermatology, OB-GYN, pain management, primary care, orthopedics, cardiology and allergy. One allergy and asthma practice says Talkie handles about 5,000 calls a month, and another practice says it handles more than 6,000.
Talkie.ai is a small company, with about 40 staff, so larger buyers should ask about support coverage and uptime.
Assort Health and Hello Patient fit practices that want another AI phone agent for scheduling. Keona Health fits groups that want nurse triage with call handling, Hyro and Syllable fit health systems that want AI across a large contact center, and Parakeet Health fits practices focused on referrals and outreach.

Pricing
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Model | Talkie.ai starts with a paid pilot of about 90 days, then charges a monthly fee that includes a set number of AI minutes. |
| What usually drives cost | For Talkie.ai, cost depends on call minutes, the number of calls handled at once, and month-to-month or 12-month billing. |
| What to ask before you buy | Ask Talkie.ai what the pilot costs, which call types it can finish without staff, and how it books into your EHR's schedule. |
| Note | Talkie.ai says 93% of practices that run a pilot stay on. |
| Published pricing | Talkie.ai plans start at $1,000 a month for about 5,000 AI minutes, roughly 2,500 calls. Extra minutes cost 20 cents each, and a 12-month agreement lowers the rate. |
