Business
In 2018 he was at Google when the company showed Duplex, software that could call a spa or a restaurant and book the appointment. He told his wife, Shailvi, who had spent years in healthcare. She asked why that technology was being used to book spa treatments. He called Shyam Rajagopalan, a longtime collaborator, and they started Infinitus.
The voice agents and copilots run on several models plus a knowledge graph Infinitus keeps of commercial and government insurance rules, so a call can follow the payer's current policy. He said that in 2024 the longest call the company handled lasted 3 hours and 15 minutes and ran 306 turns. He also said the agents support 44 percent of the Fortune 50 and touch the workflows of more than 125,000 providers.
