Daniel Kivatinos

Co-founder

DrChrono

Daniel Kivatinos co-founded DrChrono with Michael Nusimow in New York City in 2009 and was its chief operating officer through EverCommerce's purchase of the company in 2021. DrChrono makes electronic health records, scheduling, and billing software for independent practices, so physicians can chart a visit on an iPad during the exam.

Early life

He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and psychology in 2001 and a master's degree in computer science in 2002, both from Stony Brook University.

Business

In 2008 he started a health software concept that became DrChrono. The company later offered an API on its record, so another firm could add a lab order or a card payment on top of that record.

Stony Brook named him a 2015 40 Under Forty honoree.

He was invited to the White House to work on Sync for Science, a pilot from the National Institutes of Health and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology that lets patients send selected data from an electronic health record to a research study.

He is co-founder and chief executive of loopfour, which builds workflow software for founders, operators, and finance teams.

Personal

He lives in Silicon Valley, California.
