In that job he created Imprivata Cortext, a clinical messaging product so hospital staff could text about patients on a system built for healthcare. Before Imprivata he led corporate development, sales, and marketing at Liquid Machines, later bought by Check Point. He also held senior roles at IONA Technologies, Rational Software, and SQA. He holds patents on mobile authentication and on sharing secured content.
