Before Solutionreach, he was chief operating officer at HHAeXchange, which makes software for home-care agencies and the health plans that pay them. Before that he was chief operating officer at ABILITY Network, which connected healthcare providers and payers. Earlier he held leadership roles at Sage, Emdeon, and WebMD.
Jim Higgins founded the company in 2000, in Lehi, Utah, south of Salt Lake City, to send appointment reminders by text.
Higgins stayed on the board when Solutionreach named Ernsting chief executive in August 2023.
