Maria Lulo is chief executive of Mentaya, the therapy billing company that helps clinicians submit out-of-network claims for client reimbursement.
She studied psychology at Duke and joined Mentaya to grow a product aimed at therapists who want a cleaner reimbursement path without joining insurance panels.
Working with founder Christine Li, she has kept Mentaya's scope on mental-health OON workflows rather than chasing hospital RCM feature checklists.
