Co-founder and CTO

Nabla

Martin Raison is co-founder and chief technology officer of Nabla. He builds the software that listens to a visit and writes the chart, after a decade on conversational tools at Wit.ai and at Meta.

Early life

He earned a master's degree in computer science from Stanford University and graduated from École Polytechnique.

Business

He joined Wit.ai to help developers build software that understands ordinary language. After Meta acquired Wit.ai, he carried that work onto Messenger, then worked at Meta AI Research on chatbot foundations and on natural language tools in PyTorch. He left Meta in 2018.

He co-founded Nabla that year with Alex Lebrun and Delphine Groll. The company started in Paris. He is its chief technology officer. Nabla listens to a clinical conversation and writes the note so the clinician can stay with the patient.
