LeanTaaS

Mohan Giridharadas is founder and chief executive of LeanTaaS. Its iQueue software schedules scarce hospital capacity, including operating rooms, infusion chairs, and inpatient beds, so more patients can be seen without adding rooms.

Early life

He earned a bachelor of technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, in Mumbai, India, a master of science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.

Business

He was a senior partner at McKinsey, where he led lean manufacturing and lean service operations in North America and the Asia-Pacific.

iQueue is in use at more than 180 health systems, and at least one of its products is deployed at more than 1,000 hospitals and centers.

With Sanjeev Agrawal he wrote Better Healthcare Through Math, a book about using operations math on operating-room and infusion schedules.
