Co-founder and CEO
Qventus
Mudit Garg is co-founder and chief executive of Qventus. Qventus AI Platform is the company's software for hospital operations. It takes live information from the electronic health record so a hospital's staff can manage emergency boarding, inpatient flow, and the operating-room schedule.
Early life
He was born in India. He earned a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, then a master's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Stanford University.
Business
He co-founded the technology companies Vdopia and Hive, and he worked in McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice, helping large providers with how their organizations ran. In that work he saw the inefficiencies in hospital operations. He built an Excel sheet to track patients more carefully. That sheet spread to more than 40 health systems and became Qventus, which connects to the electronic health record and works across hospital departments.
He is based in Mountain View, California. The Silicon Valley Business Journal named him to a 40 Under 40 list, and he mentors founders through StartX, a startup program at Stanford.
