Co-founder and President
Redox
Niko Skievaski is a co-founder of Redox, which lets a health app reach many electronic records through one connection. He started it with two former Epic colleagues who had watched hospitals keep hundreds of one-off interfaces.
Early life
He studied economics at Arizona State University and at Boston University.
Business
He worked at Epic, where he taught healthcare economics and saw how hard it was for outside software to exchange data with the record. In 2014 he co-founded Redox in Madison with Luke Bonney and James Lloyd, both also from Epic. A developer connects to Redox once instead of building a custom interface for every hospital. He also wrote Struck by Orca, a book on the ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and he founded 100state, a coworking community in Madison.
Personal
He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
