Ohad Arazi is chief executive of Subtle Medical. He started in June 2026. Subtle Medical's software, including SubtleHD, improves MRI, PET, and CT images and shortens the scan on a scanner the hospital has. A long scan is hard on a child, an older patient, or someone who is critically ill, and it ties up the machine.
Business
He has spent more than 20 years in digital health and medical imaging. Before Subtle Medical he was chief executive and president of Clarius, which makes ultrasound systems used at the bedside. He helped scale Clarius to more than 35,000 systems in 70 countries. Before Clarius he was chief executive of Zebra Medical Vision, executive chair of Genoox, and chief strategy officer at TELUS Health. He also spent 11 years with the picture-archiving business at McKesson and Change Healthcare, the systems a radiology department uses to store and view images, including as senior vice president and general manager.
On June 2, 2026, Subtle Medical announced a $33 million round led by funds managed by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and named him chief executive. Enhao Gong, who had been chief executive, moved to chief science officer. The capital was for further product work and for putting the software on more scanners.
