Co-founder and CEO

Notable

Pranay Kapadia is co-founder and chief executive of Notable. He started the company so staff would stop retyping the same facts before a visit.

Early life

He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Business

He spent seven years at Intuit, including the multicurrency version of QuickBooks and later Mint, Quicken, and mobile payments. He then joined Blend on the founding product team. Blend makes the software a bank uses to take a mortgage application, and he worked with lenders including Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank.

In 2017 he left with Blend colleagues Adam Ting and Justin White and started Notable, first in a garage in Burlingame and a small office at Stanford. The first version let a doctor collect a history by speaking into a watch. The product now schedules visits, sends referrals, and works prior authorization. His wife, a psychiatrist, and other physicians in his family were why he treated the paperwork as the thing to build.
