MDaudit

Ritesh Ramesh is chief executive of MDaudit. MDaudit's revenue-integrity software includes eValuator and RevID, which check charges and codes before a bill goes out, and tools for payer audits and denials. A health system uses that software so a coding mistake is caught before an insurer rejects the claim.

Early life

He finished the MIT Executive MBA in 2017. He was a management consultant when he enrolled, advising large companies on digital transformation, analytics, and AI. He wanted to move from advising into jobs where he could set an organization's strategy himself.

Business

He joined MDaudit in 2019 as its first chief technology officer, while the company was moving from a services business to a software product. He became chief operating officer in 2021, overseeing product and the customer-facing work, and chief executive in 2023.

He uses Dynamic Work Design, from his MIT coursework, in how MDaudit runs: state the problem before assigning a fix, and let the people closest to the work shape the answer.
