Yaniv Vardi is chief executive of Claroty. Claroty makes software that finds connected equipment on a hospital or industrial network, including medical devices and building systems, and watches that equipment for cyber attacks.
Early life
He earned degrees in industrial and management engineering and in management information systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, in Newark, graduating magna cum laude. He served five years in the Israeli Air Force.
Business
Before Claroty, he co-founded the European business of Sparta Systems and was its managing director. Sparta sold quality-management software to life sciences companies. He later was chief executive of Panoramic Power, which monitored energy use for commercial customers, until Centrica acquired it. He then was global managing director of Centrica Business Solutions outside the United States.
