Brellium

Zach Rosen is the co-founder and chief executive of Brellium, a New York City company whose AI audits every patient chart for compliance and coding issues before billing. He started it in 2021 to move compliance from spot checks to full review.

Berkeley, Paycom, and Moelis

Rosen studied business at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, worked as a software engineer at Paycom, and was an investment banker at Moelis & Company, according to public founder profiles. He earlier co-founded Sapien, a healthcare procurement company.

Starting Brellium

He co-founded Brellium in New York City in 2021 with Henry Kasa, Alex Le-Tu, and Max Katzman, according to the company's about page. The product reviews every clinical note against payor and quality rules so providers can fix issues before claims go out.

"Providers and payers have been stuck fighting the same fraud, waste and abuse problem from opposite sides of the table for years," Rosen said in Brellium's October 2026 funding announcement.

Scaling Chart Audit

By late 2026, Brellium said it had audited 22 million visits, protected nearly $2 billion in revenue, and raised a $23 million round led by Left Lane Capital and First Round Capital to expand into more specialties. Rosen was also named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare in January 2026, per the about page.
