Practice staffing · Per diem and contingent nursing staffing
IntelyCare

IntelyCare is a Quincy, Massachusetts, healthcare staffing company whose app matches nurses and nursing assistants with per diem, local contract, and travel shifts at post-acute and acute care facilities.
Strong fit
- Post-acute and acute facilities that need flexible nursing coverage
- Health systems building an internal resource pool plus contingent labor
- Nurses who want W-2 per diem work with weekly or daily pay
Weak fit
- Hospitals that only want permanent hires
- Clinicians who struggle with document-heavy onboarding
- Teams that cannot start without a public rate card
Bottom line
IntelyCare runs a nurse staffing marketplace with W-2 clinicians, and in January 2026 it bought CareRev to add acute-care workforce tools. The combined business reported more than $200 million in pro forma 2025 revenue. Clinicians like the shift choice and pay, and App Store reviews often cite last-minute cancellations and a hard onboarding process.
Score breakdown
Weights: Outcomes 35% · Product 30% · Implementation 20% · Pricing clarity 15%.
IntelyCare's buyers are nursing facilities, hospitals, and health systems, and its users are the RNs, LPNs, and CNAs who pick up shifts. Clinicians browse per diem, local contract, and travel jobs in the mobile app, and IntelyCare employs them as W-2 workers with weekly pay and optional DailyPay, according to its website and App Store listing.
Pricing is by quote for facilities. Among companies we review, ShiftMed also fills hospital shifts with W-2 clinicians, and Staffingly and MEDVA supply remote staff to practices. Clipboard Health and CareRev (now part of IntelyCare) compete in on-demand clinical labor.
David Coppins co-founded IntelyCare. Matthew Levesque became CEO in July 2024, and Coppins moved to executive chairman, according to Endeavour Vision. In April 2022 the company raised a $115 million Series C at a $1.1 billion valuation, Fierce Healthcare reported. In January 2026 it acquired CareRev; both brands continue, and Levesque said the goal is one platform for permanent staff, internal pools, and contingent labor.
Longitude Capital said the combined IntelyCare-CareRev business generated more than $200 million in pro forma revenue for calendar 2025. IntelyCare has an estimated $220 million in annual revenue.
The clinician app has a 4.2 out of 5 average from about 1,200 ratings on the App Store. Nurses who stay praise shift choice and pay, and many reviews describe facility cancellations and a strict, slow onboarding process.
