Vivian Health's users are nurses and allied health clinicians; staffing agencies and health employers list jobs. Clinicians build one profile, filter travel, staff, local contract, per diem, and locum roles, see pay ranges, and chat with recruiters. The homepage recently showed hundreds of thousands of travel jobs and tens of thousands of staff roles. A January 2026 PR Newswire release said Vivian supports 2.7 million clinicians and facilitates more than $1.5 billion in healthcare labor spend a year.

The clinician app is free. Employer and agency pricing is by quote. Among companies we review, ShiftMed sells shift filling with its own W-2 network, while Vivian is a marketplace across many agencies. Staffingly and Staffing For Doctors serve different staffing niches.

Parth Bhakta and Eric Conner founded Vivian (earlier NurseFly) in 2017. IAC owns the company. In January 2026 Bhakta became executive chairman and Bill Kong, previously president and COO, became CEO. The release said Vivian had grown revenue more than 50x since the IAC acquisition and was profitable. Vivian has an estimated $75 million in annual revenue.

The iOS app has a 4.8 out of 5 average from about 27,000 ratings on the App Store. Clinicians praise applying to many agencies from one profile and comparing pay. Common complaints are duplicate postings, location filters that miss, and listings that omit specialty detail.
