eleos.health

Strong fit

  • Community behavioral health centers and CCBHCs that bill Medicaid and need every note reviewed for compliance
  • Substance use disorder programs and home health or hospice teams that document many sessions a day
  • Clinical and compliance leaders who want note drafting, compliance checks, and billing guardrails from one vendor

Weak fit

  • Primary care and specialty medical groups that need a general ambient scribe
  • Solo therapists who want a low-cost self-serve tool
  • Programs whose clients or staff will not accept recorded sessions

Bottom line

Eleos Health makes documentation, compliance, and billing software for community-based behavioral health. Clinicians use it to draft notes from individual, group, and psychiatry sessions, and its compliance tools check every note before a claim is submitted. That matters for Medicaid-funded providers, because a documentation error can lead to a payment being taken back.

Eleos Health was founded in 2020 by Alon Joffe, Alon Rabinovich, and Dror Zaide, who met in the Zell Entrepreneurship Program at Reichman University in Israel. The company is based in Boston, with research and development in Tel Aviv. Its software drafts notes from therapy and case-management sessions, scans notes for compliance problems before they are submitted, and flags billing errors before claims are created.

When it announced a $60 million Series C in January 2025, led by Greenfield Partners, Eleos said it had more than 120 customer organizations in over 30 states and had doubled revenue in 2024. Its website now says more than 300 community-based care organizations use it.

Compare DeepScribe or Nabla when the practice is medical rather than behavioral, and Kipu Health when a behavioral health organization is choosing its main EHR.
